True to the motto of “everything or nothing”, the car styling specialist from Leingarten,Germany, customizes the Q7 to create an impressive car. In addition to the muscular wide body kit, which makes this Audi look even more powerful, JE DESIGN is also offering a performance enhancement, new rims and an electronically lowered suspension.
For the large 3 liter V6 TDI, JE DESIGN is offering a power boost by means of a modified engine management system. The Audi specialist boosts the series specs of 171 kW/233 bhp and 500 Nm to 210 kW/285 bhp and 550 Nm, thereby lending this heavyweight ship superior poise. The top speed has also increased accordingly from 210 to 219 km/h. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is improved from 9.1 to 8.4 seconds. Needless to say, the modifications also include a TÜV parts certificate. Neither do clients have to worry about complying with the EI regulations.

Audi of America, Inc. today announced pricing for the 2007 Audi Q7 3.6 models equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 FSI engine. The Audi Q7 3.6 has a base price of $39,900, with 3.6 Premium models starting at $45,900. Both models have a $720 destination charge that’s not included in the base price.
The Audi Q7 3.6 features a 3.6-liter V6 FSI engine with gasoline direct injection technology. The engine produces 280 hp at 6200 rpm and 266 ft.-lbs. of torque at between 2500 and 5000 rpm. This powerful and efficient new engine is mated to a standard six-speed Tiptronic® automatic transmission and full-time quattro® all-wheel drive.

The Audi R10 TDI remains unbeaten: Frank Biela (Germany) and Emanuele Pirro (Italy) celebrated together with their team-mates Dindo Capello (Italy) and Allan McNish (Scotland) a double victory in the fifth race of Audi’s new diesel sportscar. In the seventh round of the American Le Mans Series at Road America, Biela and Pirro clinched their third victory of the season - including the Le Mans 24 Hours - by a margin of just 0.4 seconds.

Audi has sold 1.5 million units of its successful A3 model since market launch in 1996. The jubilee car of the compact model built in Ingolstadt is destined for the US market. It is an A3 3.2 quattro in Misano Red, with a 3.2-litre V6 engine generating an output of 250 hp and 236 ft.-lbs. of torque.
“The Audi A3 can boast outstanding quality in its class and has hallmarked the market by being the first real premium car in the compact class”, says Frank Dreves, Audi Plant Manager in Ingolstadt. Along with the A3, Audi also builds the A4, the A4 Avant and the body of the new Audi TT at its Ingolstadt plant. Further future-oriented models, in the guise of the A5 midsize coupé and the Audi Q5 SUV, are designated to be built at the Ingolstadt plant.

Audi’s history-making diesel-powered R10 TDI sports-prototype, which won the Le Mans 24 Hours last month, came close to beating a Harrier GR7 “Jump Jet” multi-role combat aircraft in a race at RAF Wittering in England yesterday (6 July).
The actual Le Mans race winning Audi R10 TDI with Scotsman Allan McNish at the wheel, sped down a taxi-way racing a Harrier aircraft on an adjacent runway from a standing start in a one-kilometre race.

The final chapter held a fairytale ending for the “old girl’s” last ever race: Dindo Capello (Italy) and Allan McNish (Scotland) steered their Audi R8 home to an amazing and emotional victory at Lime Rock Park – the final race for the most successful Le Mans Prototype of all time.
Team Audi Sport North America’s R8 started the fourth round of the American Le Mans Series from the second row of the grid aiming to repeat their Houston victory which began the three-race “final tour” for the Audi R8 in May. Capello handed over to McNish after 45 minutes in second place during the race’s second full course caution, the Audi sweeping in to the lead after 64 min. in the 2 hr. 45 min. race staged in humid heat.

Saturday, July 1, 2006, is an extremely special day for Audi Sport: The Audi R8 competes in its final race at Lime Rock Park near Lakeville, CT. With 62 wins from 79 races to date — including five victories in the 24 Hours of Le Mans — the R8 is the most successful Le Mans Prototype of all time. At Lime Rock, Team Audi Sport North America starts a final time with the “good old” R8, before the new Audi R10 TDI — the first diesel powered sportscar to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans — also breaks cover in the American Le Mans Series.
