Autodelta are now pleased to be able to introduce a new engine remap programme for the Alfa Brera, Spider and 159 3.2 V6 Q4 versions, which delivers increased power and torque. Available power is increased by 14 bhp (to 274 bhp), while more importantly torque is increased by 23 lb.ft (32Nm). Acceleration times have also been improved as has optimum top speed. Autodelta announced OZ wheels as an official supplier

Autodelta announced that they have appointed leading performance wheel manufacturer, OZ as official supplier of road wheels to the London-based design and tuning house. Autodelta’s growing range of exclusive, bespoke model packages will now be presented fitted with OZ wheels. The announcement comes soon after OZ joined the Autodelta European Tour 2006 as an official partner.

International public debut for the Autodelta Brera J5 3.2 C AT MPH06

At thursday evening the new Autodelta Brera J5 3.2 C was presented for its international public debut at the MPH06 Motor Show which opened at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London. Following its media preview in Monte Carlo in late September, the production version of the Brera J5 3.2 C has now been finalised by Autodelta and it is this car that is making its debut at MPH06. Pricing for the package has also been announced at the show. Advance orders have already been taken, however the order book officially opened yesterday and first deliveries will take place in January.

UK public debuts for Alfa Romeo at Goodwood

Italian sporting car manufacturer, Alfa Romeo, will be displaying and running an impressive array of Alfa Romeo cars from its world renowned museum collection at Arese, Milan, during this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in Sussex (7-9 July).

And alongside these seven historic vehicles, two new Alfa Romeos will be making their UK public debuts at Goodwood. The new Alfa Spider will be starring on the Alfa Romeo stand, following its international public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, where it was named Cabrio of the Year 2006 by a panel of international motoring writers. This all-new Spider has an important place in Alfa Romeo’s enviable heritage, which began with the Giulietta Spider in the 1950s, and includes the Duetto which this year celebrates its 40th anniversary. The all-new Alfa Spider will become available in the UK at the beginning of 2007.

Alfa 159 wins design award

Alfa 159 wins design award

The new Alfa 159 has won the Design Award in the 2006 Fleet World Honours. The trophy was presented at a special ceremony held at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, on Thursday 18 May.

Fleet World Honours are presented annually to those motor manufacturers and service companies which have, in the opinion of the judges, achieved the highest possible level of excellence in their sector. The judging panel is chaired by industry professional, George Emmerson, who has managed fleets at IBM, NHBC and Black Horse Agencies. Members of the judging panel include Ken Rogers, John Kendall and Ross Durkin from Fleet World’s editorial team, Alan Cole of Glass’s Guide and fleet manager Jackie Pomfrett. Residual value, maintenance cost and reliability data is also provided by ALD Automotive, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions and ING Car Lease.
