Janspeed’s new Bentley GT stainless steel exhaust system – its fastest ever exhaust?

Salisbury based performance engineering company Janspeed is delighted to unveil a performance exhaust for the 551bhp Bentley GT sports coupe. Despite being capable of 198mph in standard form, Janspeed’s customers have demanded a more overtly sporty exhaust note from the Bentley’s W12 motor, so the Wiltshire firm was happy to oblige. The end result is a free-flowing rear silencer section that allows the 6.0-litre motor to breathe more freely, improving throttle response and adding a cultured, refined exhaust note. The system also adds a little more visual drama to the GT, as it uses quad oval tailpipes that fit neatly into the standard Bentley rear valence.

Just as spring heralds the arrival of colour in our gardens, Bentley Ribble Valley has confirmed that the north west’s only authorised Bentley dealership will again be supporting the annual Southport Flower Show this year.

Well established as the country’s largest independent show, the Southport Flower Show will occupy 34 acres of Southport’s Victoria Park from August 17-20, 2006. Up to 100,000 visitors and families are expected to enjoy a great combination of seaside atmosphere and a celebration of all that’s best in the gardening world. Patrons of the show, officially opened last year by Bentley owner David Dickinson, include Professor David Bellamy, Professor Stefan Buczacki and Roddy Llewellyn.
