Cadillac is celebrating the 5th Anniversary of the opening of its Lansing Grand River (Michigan) assembly plant. The state-of-the-art facility began operations in 2001, after a $707 million build programme, just as the brand’s product renaissance was gathering momentum. During the past five years, the factory has received numerous awards for its consistent quality and high productivity.
The 2007 model year marks an important milestone in Cadillac’s efforts to strengthen its position among the world’s luxury brands. The new Escalade luxury SUV aims to extend Cadillac’s leadership in that category. The SRX crossover boasts a luxurious new interior and the Cadillac V-Series cars (XLR-V, STS-V) will tap into the potential of the division’s performance, luxury and exclusivity.
This new phase of the division’s renaissance aims to continue Cadillac’s noteworthy progress in dramatic designs and enhanced performance. “Phase two” also adds a renewed emphasis on more elegantly detailed products.
The Cadillac CTS model range is being permanently reinforced with the CTS Business Edition, an attractive model which was previously available only temporarily and in limited numbers.

Cadillac, in association with the charity SPARKS, is embarking on a nationwide tour to launch its new midsize executive saloon the BLS.
The Cadillac BLS Launch Tour will visit 84 motorway service areas over a two-week period to showcase the new BLS to a potential audience of over one million motorists.
The tour begins on Friday, April 28 and concludes on Thursday, May 11 and monies raised during the event will be donated to SPARKS. Many of the venues will be supported by the attendance of SPARKS sports celebrities.
The all-new Cadillac BLS range of executive saloons, which goes on sale in the UK next week, presents customers with a choice of 12 models featuring one diesel and three petrol engines, each with manual or automatic transmission, and three equipment levels.

Cadillac presents the all-new Escalade, the next generation of the iconic luxury SUV, at the 76th Geneva Motor Show. Cadillac has announced prices for its all-new luxury midsize BLS saloon, which arrives in showrooms across Europe from April 8, 2006.
