This weekend (7, 8, 9, July) Monza will echo to the sound of more than 80 Ferrari V8 engines as the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli moves to Italy for Round 4 with the GB team looking to get on the podium yet again. The famous circuit at Monza will present a full weekend of motorsport action with the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli hosting both the European and Italian Championships plus the Italian GT Championship. The Ferrari Challenge Dealer Team GB heads off to Italy with a track record that includes a podium finish in every round of the 2006 championship.

The car which has been described as ‘The F40 for the 21st Century’, the all new Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, will make its only UK driving appearance in 2006 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July. This 620hp, V12 masterpiece combines the elegance of Ferrari design with the race-developed technology from the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro Formula 1 team. Powered by a 5999cc engine first seen in the Enzo supercar, this will be a highlight of the Festival when it appears on the Supercar Run each day.

Ferrari GB was again on the podium this weekend during the Ferrari Racing Days at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. Ross Kaiser the leading driver in the Ferrari Challenge Dealer Team GB fought a tough battle to take 3rd place in the Trofeo Pirelli in his F430 Challenge car. Ferrari Racing Days bring together Ferrari owners and fans in a sporting weekend with Shell Historic cars, 18 Ferrari Formula 1 cars and the largest gathering of Ferrari FXX cars in Europe this year. Around 400 Ferrari owners brought their road cars to the Spa circuit in sweltering temperatures and saw wheel to wheel racing in the 3rd round of the European Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. Spa-Francorchamps is a favourite circuit of many Ferrari drivers and in particular the challenge of the Eau Rouge section which requires skill and bravery in equal measure, and in both the Trofeo Pirelli and Coppa Shell the drivers had to fight for every place.

The Cantabrian locality of Suances (Spain) celebrated VII the Concentration of Ferrari this weekend and reserved the small piece in the history of the automobiles by breaking Guinness world record for being the lucky place where 136 Ferraris have been concentrated. There were around 20 different Ferrari models, from the classic ones to the last vehicles designed by the mark, among them “Enzo”. In this new concentration participants came from France, Portugal and Belgium, as well as from different parts of Spain, from Malaga, Cadiz, Barcelona, Castilla and Leon, Galicia… According to one comment in Forocoches.com some of the participants had everything: a Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari F40, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti or 575 Ferrari Maranello and some classics like the Ferrari 330 2+2 GT or a Ferrari Dino 246 GT Joist. Impressive.

Ferrari came out on top in a study, released today, of graduates from the best Italian universities. The Prancing Horse topped the Universum Graduate Survey 2006, a classification of the company that most would like to work for.
Stockholm’s Universum Communications, the noted international institute of consultancy and research, found that in Italy, Ferrari was adjudged first and second in the ideal workplaces among engineering, science and economics students.
The 4,753 Italian students interviewed took many factors into account in electing Ferrari the best company. These included stimulating work, international career opportunities, open dialogue between staff members, a balance between the professional and the private spheres and the level of remuneration.

This weekend (5, 6, 7 May 2006) the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli starts the European Championship at the home of British Motorsport in Silverstone.
Featuring 50 of the all-new Ferrari F430 Challenge racing cars it will be an action-packed weekend as the Ferrari drivers have the first chance to see how the new car will match their driving style in a tough competitive environment with drivers from across the world.
The deep-throated roar of the F430 Challenge’s 490hp V8 engine will be heard throughout the weekend as the British team sets out on the road to take the championship crown after missing out with 2nd place last year.

Italian design house and coachbuilder Zagato has released new studio photos and press release of its newest creation, the one-of-a-kind Ferrari 575GTZ.

The Zagato brand has close ties with the Villa D’Este Concours d’Elegance as it was here that we celebrated our 85th Anniversary in 2004, with 50 different models dating from 1927 to 2004. This year, 10 Zagatos will be taking part at Villa D’Este, out of a total of 65 competing classic and concept cars.

CarsWeb - Stars from the world of music will feature alongside four-wheeled automotive legends from Ferrari at the Galleria Ferrari this summer with a themed exhibition bringing together famous names to the home of the Prancing Horse.
The latest exhibition entitled ‘La Ferrari e la musica’ (Ferrari and the music) has just opened and runs until 30 June 2006.
Singers and performers from all over the world who were attracted to Ferrari’s racing heritage, and loved the style of the road cars, have expressed this admiration in their songs and videos. With three rooms entirely dedicated to the exhibition, the Galleria Ferrari pays tribute to the link between Ferrari and artists who left their mark on the world of music.
More than thirty international music artists and their representatives accepted the invitation to participate: Italian singer and song-writers as well as world-renowned artists from the most important musical genres: classical, opera, jazz, rock and pop music.

CarsWeb - Italian design house and coachbuilder Zagato has released a preview photo of its newest creation, the one-of-a-kind Ferrari 575GTZ.
While the development of the custom Ferrari was announced at the Geneva Motor Show this spring, Zagato decided to unveil the car at the famous Villa d’Este concours d’elegance in Italy later this month, where the car’s iconic predecessor, the Ferrari 250 GTZ, debuted 50 years ago.
The new Ferrari GTZ was commissioned by Japanese car collector Yoshiyuki Hayashi (pictured), who specifically requested that Zagato make a unique 575 in the style of the famous 250 GTZ berlinetta. The aluminum-bodied car incorporates a host of styling cues from Zagato’s classic custom sports cars of the ’50s, including the two-tone color scheme of the 250GTZ.
